BUTE HOUSE

Situated to the north of Charlotte Square, Bute House at No.6 Charlotte Square has been the official residence of Scotland's First Minister since 1999.

Each week the Scottish Government's Cabinet meets here in what used to be the Secretary of State's study and it is also where Scotland’s First Minister greets dignitaries, holds ministerial receptions and press conferences.
